Commissioning
| Practice-based commissioning (PBC) | |
PBC gives front line clinicians the resources and support to become more involved in local commissioning decisions, which in turn delivers better clinical engagement, better services for patients and better use of resources. NHS Hounslow has been working with a partnership between the Royal College of GPs, Aetna and PriceWaterhouseCoopers LLP since July to develop Practice Based Commissioning (PBC) in Hounslow.
Our work with the partnership and local practices is focused on three strands:
